At the start of my freshman year of high school, my mom and sister and I started a cookie company called Cramers' Cookies. We advertised on Facebook, sold our cookies at fundraisers, and handed out business cards. We sold a dozen cookies for $25 and a single cookie was $1.50 each. We made the cookies out of our home kitchen and packaged them our selves. We created a sugar cookie recipe and perfected the art of decorating the cookies to match the customer's design. Although the business only lasted a few months, it was a great summer project and a memory I hold dear spent with my mom and sister in our kitchen.
To be honest, ENT3003 is the first class I have truly enjoyed at UF. I love the creative teaching style, which pushes me to be a better student far more than an exam-led style. I am pursuing a minor in Entrepreneurship so I needed to take this course and I am so glad that I did. I hope to get even more inspired to creative, pursue, and achieve my business goals.
