Celebrating Failure

Failure is a scaring thing. I've feel that I've failed multiple times this semester in not submitting assignments on time. I've never been the one to forget to submit something, but since this class has so many assignment due at random times, I missed a few. I tend to forget the projects due on Sunday night. I try to avoid homework on Sundays, so if I don't do the assignments ahead of time , I forget to submit them. I now set reminders to make sure that they are finished in time. The worst is when I half start an assignment and then forget to submit it.
I don't like the feeling of failing, especially when it's something I could have avoided like just submitting an assignment. I get more bummed out when I failure something that was completely in my control. If I try my best and it doesn't work out I don't get too upset. I don't think this class has changed my opinion on failure because everything has been on a small scale. When I actually do put my concept into action, I will be nervous about failing.
PS this is how I feel when I forget to turn something in.

  1. I can understand your problem. There have been a couple of times in this class where I forgot to turn in assignments and I felt that grade might suffer as a result. I always try to turn in assignments early but because there are so many in this class, it is easy for some to slip through the cracks. Bu luckily this class does give opportunities to receive extra credit which is a big bonus in my book. 2. Hey Caroline, I can totally relate to almost missing assignments multiple times in this class because they are due at 9 where as most assignments in other classes are due at midnight. The picture you put is a pretty accurate representation as to how I feel when I fail. So far every blog I have read someone has talked about a school failure which is interesting. 3. Hey Caroline,
As a massive procrastinator (I'm writing this comment about 20 minutes before the deadline) I have been in very similar situations with not getting an assignment in on time. I haven't forgot to submit a finished assignment and I can only imagine how frustrating that is. This is the first blog I've read about failure in this class, and because I know everyone goes through alittle bit of failure in this class, it seems like you must have a grip on other aspects, keep up the good work and best of luck to you!
